Lucknow, June 12 On the remarkable occasion of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) forming the government in Odisha for the first time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the party members. He stated that Odisha will set new standards of public welfare. CM Yogi attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected BJP government of Odisha on Wednesday. He congratulated Mohan Charan Majhi on taking oath as the Chief Minister, and Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida on taking their oaths as Deputy Chief Ministers. He also extended his best wishes to all the members of the new cabinet. The Chief Minister congratulated Mohan Charan Majhi on his official 'X' account. During the Lok Sabha elections, CM Yogi had campaigned for Harichandan, urging people to vote for him. Prithviraj Harichandan won the Chilika Assembly seat, defeating Biju Janata Dal's Raghunath Sahu.
