Amit Shah Orders Agencies to Hunt All Culprits Behind Red Fort Car Blast
New Delhi, November 11, 2025 Following the deadly car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station that killed 13 people and injured several others, Home Minister Amit Shah has directed law enforcement agencies to track down every individual involved in the attack. Speaking on X (formerly Twitter) after chairing a review meeting, Shah said, “Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies.” The explosion, which took place in a Hyundai i20 at a red light, is currently under investigation, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) probing it as a potential terror act. The exact cause of the blast is still unknown. Authorities have already carried out multiple raids in connection with the incident. In Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, six people, including three relatives of Dr. Umar Un Nabi, were picked up for questioning. Dr. Umar is a key suspect as he was linked to the car used in the blast and has been missing since the earlier bust of a terror module in Faridabad, where 2,900 kg of explosives were seized. Investigators are looking into possible connections between Dr. Umar and other doctors from Kashmir previously arrested in the Faridabad terror case. Security across Delhi has been tightened, and agencies are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that all responsible individuals are identified and brought to justice. The home minister’s firm directive underscores the zero-tolerance approach of the government toward terror-related attacks and reinforces efforts to strengthen security in the national capital.
