NDA’s Final ‘Mangal Milan’ Sets Stage for Session’s Last Push

New Delhi, August 11, 2026 With the Monsoon Session of Parliament entering its final phase, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) held its weekly parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building. The gathering reflected the alliance’s focus on coordination and strategy as only two days remain before the session concludes. MPs waved the Tricolour and raised slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. The weekly meeting, traditionally held every Tuesday during parliamentary sittings, provides the ruling alliance with a platform to coordinate legislative priorities, floor management and consensus-building. The gathering has been given the name “Mangal Milan” from the Monsoon Session onwards. As Parliament heads towards the close of the session, the NDA’s final coordination meeting comes at a crucial juncture. With limited time left, the alliance faces the task of maintaining floor coordination while seeking to complete its remaining legislative agenda amid continued Opposition protests.
