New Delhi | January 19, 2026 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president Nitin Nabin filed his nomination for the post of national president on Monday, in a move that is expected to make him the party’s 12th national president. With no other candidate in the race, Nabin is set to be elected unopposed, and the formal announcement is scheduled for Tuesday. The nomination papers were submitted in the presence of senior party leaders, including Union Minister JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh. Other prominent leaders such as Nitin Gadkari, Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupendra Yadav, and Kiren Rijiju were also present at the event.
