Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath creats 11 committees by joining several departments
27 March, Lucknow.* Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's team-11 will beat Corona. This team will monitor the situation arising out of Corona as per the assigned responsibility. The government has formed 11 committees by linking several departments which includes about two dozen senior government officials. They are being supervised by the Chief Minister himself like a coach.
1. The coordination committee headed by the Chief Secretary will consist of Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary Basic Education, Technical Education, Secondary Education, Higher Education, Labor and Employment Exchange as members. Their work is to coordinate with the Government of India and other state governments on important issues, and to make all students and working people aware of the various means to stay where they are through all the departments connected with education and employment exchange.
2- The committee headed by the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development will consist of Principal Secretary, Industrial Development, Labor and Employment Exchange as members. Their task will be to ensure timely distribution of maintenance allowances to workers and other poor people; to ensure full salary, honorarium to the personnel (regular, daily salary, on contract) working in the industrial and commercial units of the state during lockdown. Along with this, they will ensure solution to various problems related to it at the governance and district administration level.
3- Committee headed by Commissioner of Agricultural Production will have Principal Secretary Agriculture, Transport, Food and Civil Supplies, Development of Milk and Livestock, Food Safety and Drug Administration, Horticulture and Food Processing, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Director, Mandi and the Relief Commissioner as the member. Their task will be to coordinate with the districts to provide necessary materials and items. Problems encountered in inter-district and district transport will have to be resolved by them. The committee will ensure the delivery of essential commodities like milk, vegetables and ration etc. through home delivery to the public in the entire state. The committee will also ensure that all the necessary materials are available to the public at a reasonable price and there should be no incidents of taking extra money for commodities.
4. Director General of Police (Notification) will be a member of the committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Information and Public Relations. Their task will be to review the action of the enforcement in lockdown and provide accurate information in the media immediately. Effective action will have to be ensured against hoarders and those involved in black marketing.
5. The Committee headed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue shall consist of Relief Commissioner and one representative member of each of the committees constituted by this office. Their work is to set up control rooms at the state level and in all the districts and regularly review their work and to ensure that the curiosity and request of any person reaches the right officer and department.
6. The committee headed by Principal Secretary Health will consist of Principal Secretary Medical Education, and Micro, Small and Medium Industries. Their work is to ensure the provision of drinking water, sanitation and sanitization in all the urban and rural areas of the state and to review it regularly. Along with this, they will ensure availability of drinking water.
7. The committee headed by Principal Secretary, Health, will have Principal Secretary Medical Education / Micro, Small and Medium Industries as members. The task of this committee is to coordinate with the Ministry of Medical, Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Along with this, they will have to ensure effective treatment and care of the suspected and infected Corona virus patients in the state. This committee here will ensure medical arrangements related to Covid-19 in the state, including isolation wards, medicines and masks etc. in the hospital. Apart from developing quarantine facilities in hospitals other than home quarantine, the work of this committee is also to strengthen the arrangements of medical colleges, district hospitals and community health centers in the district.
8. The work of the committee headed by the principal secretary animal husbandry is to ensure the arrangement of animal fodder and supply of essential medicines.
9. The committee headed by Director General of Police is to ensure cleanliness in all the jails, training centers and PAC battalions of the state. Also, the task of this committee is to prepare the forces deployed in the PAC battalion and training center as reserves, so that they can be deployed in the field when needed.
10. The task of the committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Finance is to study the impact on the economy due to Corona virus epidemic and to prepare a future strategy. Principal Secretary, Agriculture / Horticulture and Food Processing and Sugarcane Development and Industries will be as members in this committee.
11. The committee headed by Principal Secretary, Agriculture will include Principal Secretary, Horticulture, Principal Secretary, Food and Logistics as members. This committee will ensure the effective procurement of farmers' crops like wheat, potatoes, mustard etc.
