On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a detailed discussion with Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran on the group’s ongoing and upcoming projects, with a focus on electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, and power generation. During the meeting in Lucknow, Chandrasekaran outlined Tata Motors’ plans to expand EV manufacturing in the state. The expansion includes the development of new electric vehicle models as well as electric buses, which are expected to strengthen Tata’s market presence while creating fresh employment opportunities across Uttar Pradesh. The first phase of this infrastructure project is expected to be completed in a phased manner by December 2026.
