Uttar Pradesh received a major economic boost as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore began with the signing of three important MoUs worth ₹6,650 crore with Universal Success Group. These agreements are expected to accelerate industrial growth in the state and open up employment opportunities for more than 20,000 young people across key sectors. Highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s rapidly expanding infrastructure, the Chief Minister said the state now has the highest number of airports in India. He added that the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar, set to be inaugurated next month by Narendra Modi, will be India’s largest airport. He noted that the airport will not only serve passengers but will also emerge as a major cargo hub, strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s role in national and global logistics. As part of the investment plans, an international theme-based group housing township will be developed near Jewar Airport in the YEIDA region. Spread over nearly 100 acres, this project involves an investment of ₹3,500 crore and is expected to create around 12,000 jobs. The project is likely to begin by 2027, adding to the region’s urban and economic development. The other two projects include a logistics park on the Kanpur–Lucknow highway, with an investment of ₹650 crore and employment for about 7,500 people, and a hyperscale data centre park in the Noida–Greater Noida area. The data centre project will involve ₹2,500 crore and generate around 1,500 jobs, with operations expected to start by 2028. During the meetings, the Chief Minister assured investors of full government support, stressing policy stability, strong connectivity and a fast-growing industrial ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.
