CM Yogi Adityanath to organise ‘Nayika’, a mega event to honour meritorious women of Uttar Pradesh.

 Uttar Pradesh Government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly working to uplift and provide equal opportunities to the daughters and women of the state under its visionary scheme, ‘Mission Shakti’. With this mission, CM Yogi will organise ‘Nayika’, a unique mega event on the occasion of ‘National Girl Child Day’ in the state on January 24 to honour all the meritorious girls and will give them the opportunity to hold the offices of Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer and Senior Superintendent of Police in the district for a day.

and 5,000 gender champions will be honoured by appointing them as symbolic ‘officers’ and giving them the command of administrative departments for a day. They will also be presented as role models to encourage all the daughters of the state. 

CM Yogi believes that for any state to develop completely, it is very necessary for the women and daughters to feel safe and follow their dreams without any barriers. “The Government will make sure that the women of the state are empowered and protected at the grassroot level”, He stated. 

The government will also encourage the achievements of the female students of 10th and 12th standard of the state board with cash amounts of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively in collaboration with the Women Welfare Department and the Department of Child Nutrition and Development. 

Birthday Celebration of newborn daughters in the state-
At the instructions of CM Yogi, the birthday of around 2005 newborn daughters in government hospitals was celebrated on January 22 by distributing gifts to the mother and child.
