Joint raids by UP ATS, J&K Police and Lucknow Police across Lucknow

In a major late‑night operation in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh Anti‐Terrorism Squad (UP ATS), the Jammu & Kashmir Police and the Lucknow Police conducted coordinated raids across multiple neighbourhoods based on intelligence about suspected terror‑network activity. The searches, which began Monday evening and carried on into early Tuesday, covered areas including Khurram Nagar, Indira Nagar and Mahanagar. Several individuals were detained for questioning and numerous digital devices and documents were seized. Officials said the action followed specific intelligence linking suspicious communications in Lucknow to operatives in Kashmir and other parts of northern India. While one searched premise was identified as belonging to a doctor named Parvez Ansari, authorities have not yet announced any arrests; investigations are ongoing under tightened security.
