New Delhi | January 17, 2026 Delhi Police on Saturday announced that all suspects involved in the murder of a 21-year-old man in the Jaitpur area have been arrested. The breakthrough came after police detained two more accused, taking the total number of apprehended persons in the case to ten. Among them are five adults and five juveniles. The minors have been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, officials said. The victim, identified as Krishna Sahu, was stabbed to death late Thursday night when he tried to intervene in a dispute involving his friend and a group of youths. The altercation reportedly stemmed from an issue related to a girl. Sahu was rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where doctors declared him dead. The two latest arrests are Manish Kumar, also known as Mangal, a resident of Faridabad, and Amit, alias RP, from Meethapur in Delhi. According to police, both men were working at an AC pipe factory in Noida. Earlier, the police had arrested Deepak Kumar, believed to be one of the key conspirators, Ashish, who allegedly attacked the victims with a sharp-edged weapon, and Neeraj Kumar, who is accused of providing logistical support. Police said the incident took place at a park in Jaitpur, where Krishna Sahu had gone with his friends Sunny and Prince to resolve the matter with the other group. A heated argument soon turned violent, and the accused allegedly attacked them with knives before fleeing the spot. Police received a PCR call at around 11.18 pm and found all three injured at the scene. While Sunny sustained serious stab injuries to his abdomen and thigh and is currently undergoing treatment, Prince suffered minor injuries and was discharged after first aid. An FIR has been registered under sections 103, 115, 109, 118, 126 and 3 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police said the weapon used in the crime has been recovered, the crime scene examined by forensic experts, and CCTV footage from the area analysed.
