Former President Ram Nath Kovind Opens NHRC’s 32nd Foundation Day

Former President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the 32nd Foundation Day of the National Human Rights Commission in New Delhi today. The event focuses on the rights and welfare of prison inmates, with discussions on dignity and better living conditions. Kovind delivered the inaugural address alongside NHRC Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian and other members. The Commission also reviewed its 32-year journey of handling over 23 lakh cases and promoting justice and accountability. The celebration brings together legal experts, officials, and rights defenders to strengthen human rights protection across the country.
