With detailed engraving, the set highlights India’s long tea tradition and celebrates the warm bond shared by both countries. A beautifully handcrafted silver horse from Maharashtra was another symbolic gift. Its detailed design represents strength, dignity and progress — values respected by both nations. The horse’s forward-moving pose reflects the steady and growing partnership between India and Russia. PM Modi also gifted a marble chess set from Agra, showcasing India’s stone inlay art under the ODOP initiative. And to complete the collection, he included premium Kashmiri saffron, valued for its colour, aroma and flavour, and cherished across cultures.
