Police said the incident took place on a Saturday morning, when the Class 4 student was seen on security cameras jumping from the school’s fourth-floor corridor. She sustained multiple fractures and internal injuries and was declared dead after being taken to the hospital. The girl’s parents have filed a case against the school administration under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with abetment of suicide, at the Mansarovar police station. The school management has so far declined to issue any statement on the incident. The heartbreaking case has raised serious questions about bullying, mental health support in schools, and the accountability of teachers and administrators.
