The attacks, which occurred on November 10, killed 15 people, and last month, authorities recovered 2,900 kg of explosives from Faridabad, raising concerns about potential large-scale attacks. Investigators are working closely with local police units to track medical professionals and other associates allegedly linked to the blasts. So far, the NIA has arrested eight suspects, including doctors, clerics, and six alleged accomplices, all of whom remain in custody. The arrests aim to dismantle the network behind the attacks and prevent future incidents. In Lucknow, an eight-member NIA team visited the Khandari Bazar residence of arrested siblings Dr Shaheen Ansari and Dr Parvez Ansari around 5:30 am. Investigators also questioned their father, Shaheed Ansari, a former state health department employee, and elder brother, Shoaib Ansari, for nearly six hours regarding the siblings’ movements and communications. Preliminary findings indicate Shaheed had last spoken to his daughter a month before the Delhi blast. Simultaneously, NIA teams, accompanied by local police, carried out searches at eight locations across south Kashmir, mainly in Pulwama, Shopian, and Qazigund. The homes of already arrested suspects were thoroughly examined to gather evidence and establish links between the accused. Among those in custody are Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai from Pulwama, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather from Anantnag, Dr Shaheen Saeed from Lucknow, and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay from Shopian. Other key suspects include Amir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the attack was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical support to the prime suspect Umar Un Nabi. Officials emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing, with all leads being followed to uncover the full extent of the network behind the attacks. While operational details and specifics of the case have not been shared publicly, the NIA is focusing on preventing any further threats and ensuring the suspects are thoroughly interrogated.
